ABC Briefcase

I created narrative illustrations for a redesign competition organized by the Colombian brand Maletas ABC. The challenge invited participants to reinterpret the visual identity of their leather school bags, traditionally characterized by colorful imagery. My proposal was selected as the winning entry, resulting in the production of a school bag featuring my design, as well as the opportunity to commercialize the artwork. The project highlights my ability to translate storytelling into functional design within a commercial context.

Narrative Illustration Concept

I created a series of three illustrations that together form an open-ended story. The first scene features a queen accompanied by her guards; the second introduces the keeper of the key, who has fallen asleep, prompting two thieves to attempt to steal it. The final scene presents the chest under the watch of the guards, leaving the outcome unresolved: will the thieves succeed in opening it, or will the guards manage to protect its contents?
