Virtual Existence

This project was my master’s thesis for the Master’s in Communication Design, exploring humanity’s pursuit of immortality. It examines the possibilities and drawbacks of existing in a virtual space without a physical body. Key questions such as "Without emotions, how would a virtual being stay motivated?" or “If everything is stored, can one forget?” served as the basis for designing a website presenting potential answers.

Interactive Experience & User Engagement
Through interactions, audio, video, images, and text, the website presents a potential scenario for virtual existence. Interactive elements such as limiting scrolling to hear an audio clip or requiring mouse movement to continue encourage the viewer to participate actively. This approach allows users to engage not only through reading but also through experiencing, fostering reflection and ongoing discussion around the ideas presented in the project.
